Description
The Parish of Ascension is soliciting bids for the supply of pumped sand and river silt. The solicitation includes options for the Ascension Parish Government to pick up the materials. Bids will be accepted for a one-year period commencing upon the date of approval. Pricing is to be provided on a per-yard basis. Deliveries will be made to several specified locations within Ascension Parish, including Public Works Departments, an Expo Center, and Fire Protection Districts. In the event of a declared State of Emergency, the Parish may request deliveries to additional locations not listed, such as Parish Fire Stations or Schools, with a potential increase in price per yard. Bid documents can be obtained from the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Department. Electronic bids are accepted through Central Bidding at http://www.centralauctionhouse.com.
