Description
St. John the Baptist Parish is soliciting bids for the Community Center Chiller Replacement Project. This project involves the demolition of existing chillers and associated piping, followed by the installation of two new 200-ton Carrier or equivalent air-cooled scroll chillers. The scope of work also includes piping and valve modifications, insulation, electrical disconnects and reconnects, and HVAC control upgrades. These upgrades will integrate the new equipment, provide indoor temperature monitoring, and enable remote alarm notifications. The parish is encouraging participation from minority and female-owned businesses, as well as businesses located within St. John the Baptist Parish. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 29, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. local time at 1811 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace, LA 70068. Bids are due by 9:45 A.M. Local Time on July 9, 2026, and must be submitted electronically via www.centralbidding.com.
