Description
El Centro Elementary School District is soliciting a contractor for construction of a new parking lot and ELOP building at De Anza Magnet School. The scope includes demolition, grading, engineered fill, asphalt and concrete paving, curbs and gutters, pavement marking, landscaping, fencing, restroom improvements, architectural finishes, electrical work, parking lot lighting, and installation of Level 2 electric vehicle charging equipment. The project includes one base bid, one additive alternate for concrete paving at Parking Lot A, and one deductive alternate for Building 2 restroom improvements. Work must be completed within 60 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must hold the applicable California contractor licenses, be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations, and submit the required bid forms, bid security, subcontractor designation, non-collusion affidavit, DVBE acknowledgment, and proof of DIR registration. A bid security of at least 5% of the total bid price is required; performance and payment bonds of 100% of the contract price and required insurance are due after award.
