Description
The City and County of Butte-Silver Bow is soliciting bids for 12 new solar speed radar signs. The signs must comply with the Federal Highway Administration's MUTCD requirements, detect vehicles at distances up to 1,000 feet, display “School Zone 15 MPH 8AM–4PM,” and include the complete setup, including poles, brackets, bolts, and batteries. The buyer will perform installation; the bid is for signs and delivery only. Bidders must provide product specifications or technical papers, warranty information, and required operations, service, electrical, and parts manuals. Delivery is required by November 30, 2026, to the City and County's facility in Butte, Montana. A bid security of at least 10% of the aggregate bid is required, and the successful bidder must provide a standard five-year warranty. The solicitation includes an attached bid form and bid bond form.
