Description
The Montana Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for new seven-passenger, non-ADA-accessible minivans for use in Montana transportation programs. The initial purchase is anticipated to include 40 vans, with up to 10 vans ordered in each renewal year over a potential five-year purchase order/contract. Vehicles must include seating for six passengers plus the driver, all-wheel drive, an engine of at least 2.4 liters, automatic transmission, heating and air conditioning, power windows and locks, AM/FM radio, white exterior color, front and side airbags, a backup camera, and an owner's manual. Vehicles must comply with applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and the Federal Transit Administration's Partial Buy America Waiver for Vans and Minivans, including U.S. final assembly and a domestically manufactured engine or motor. Bidders must submit the required federal certification forms, including the rolling stock, lobbying, debarment and suspension, and Buy America waiver compliance certifications. Delivery is required to the Montana Department of Transportation Transit Section, with at least five working days' notice before delivery.
