Description
A recovery-focused nonprofit organization is seeking a CPA or accounting firm with nonprofit and Form 990 experience to prepare and file its annual Form 990. The organization uses Aplos bookkeeping software, maintains current and well-organized books, and applies fund accounting to grants and individual programs. The Executive Director handles most bookkeeping and will work directly with the selected CPA to provide documentation, answer questions, and support completion of the return. The organization experienced a financial loss in 2025 after transitioning one program into a separate 501(c)(3) organization. The Form 990 must be filed by November 15, 2026.
