Description
The City and County of Butte-Silver Bow Information Technology Services Department is requesting qualifications from experienced information technology firms to provide professional services for its network and wireless environment. The scope includes network assessment; network design, implementation, security, and configuration; hardware setup; stabilization; guest wireless setup; staff and employee wireless authentication review; documentation; knowledge transfer; and testing support. The selected consultant will support special projects under a negotiated Master Service Agreement. Production-impacting changes must be reviewed, approved, and scheduled by City-County IT management, with practical use of approved maintenance windows. Respondents must describe their firm and personnel qualifications, similar project experience from the past three years, project approach, organizational structure, capacity to meet schedule and budget requirements, and relevant past performance. The anticipated agreement is a three-year period with an option for a two-year extension, and the final scope and compensation will be negotiated.
