The New York City Housing Authority is soliciting a series of four development-specific requirement contracts for installation of vinyl composition floor tile in occupied and unoccupied apartments at Claremont Consolidated Houses, Forest Consolidated Houses, Highbridge Houses, and Sedgwick Houses in the Bronx. The solicitation also includes a separate line item for removal-only work involving existing non-asbestos floor coverings, including vinyl composition tile, linoleum, self-adhesive floor tile, carpet, ceramic floor tile, and wood flooring; removal and installation must be priced as distinct scopes. The contract term is three years from the applicable award or notice-to-proceed date, with up to two one-year renewal options. No bid security is required. Bidders must be approved through the NYCHA Tile Pre-Qualification List and registered with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i, as must identified subcontractors. Section 3 REO and OEO plans are submitted separately through eComply and must not be included in the iSupplier bid submission. The opportunity is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing-wage requirements and has an award-limiting provision that generally permits one contract in the bid series initially, with possible additional awards at NYCHA's discretion.
