Description

The Air Force's Air Mobility Command (AMC) is seeking innovative partners to lead a comprehensive transformation of its Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. The current legacy environment is outdated, inefficient, and hinders the 'Global Reach' mission by compromising operational speed, data sharing, and overall warfighter effectiveness. The objective is to overhaul this system by assessing existing architecture, developing a forward-looking roadmap, and integrating modern technologies across core, cloud, and edge environments. The goal is to field a secure, scalable, and purpose-built IT infrastructure that enables data-driven, globally maneuverable airpower for modern joint warfare. The selection process occurs in two steps. Step One involves submitting a white paper detailing the company's technical approach, company information, and total project price. White papers will be evaluated and categorized as Selectable or Not Selectable. Companies with selectable white papers will be invited to Step Two, a detailed approach submission. This step requires a comprehensive assessment of existing IT infrastructure at two representative AMC installations, a proposed future state architecture including a secure Cross-Domain Solution (CDS), a transition and implementation roadmap, core technical capabilities, and a cybersecurity framework demonstrating understanding of DoD requirements like RMF and C-SCRM. Key requirements include system integration, network design, multi-solution testing, large-scale installation, and adherence to cybersecurity and compliance frameworks. Offerors must have a minimum of a Secret clearance and a Secret facilities clearance. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price type, and work will primarily be performed at government-furnished facilities at AMC installations, with travel required to various AMC locations. This solicitation is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs).
