Description
Riverside Transit Agency seeks monthly deionized water tank exchange services for its bus wash rinse system. The contractor must maintain eight operational tanks onsite, provide monthly exchanges every 28 to 31 days without system downtime, inspect and replace defective fittings as needed, and provide service tickets documenting each exchange and water-quality test results. The contractor is responsible for tank delivery, hookup, and regeneration or disposal of spent tanks. Bidders must have at least five years of relevant experience, an active California Class C-36 or C-55 contractor's license, and active California Department of Industrial Relations registration at bid submission. The work is subject to prevailing-wage requirements. The bid package includes a completed bid schedule and required forms; a 100% payment bond is required of the successful bidder. The contract has a three-year base term and two one-year options.
