Description
Contra Costa County Works Department, Fleet Services Division, is seeking a qualified distributor, wholesaler, or retailer to furnish and deliver new, unused, severe-duty police pursuit vehicle brake parts and related components. The requested products include brake pads, rotors, and hardware kits for Chevrolet, Dodge, and Ford police fleet platforms, including Tahoe, Silverado, Blazer EV, Durango, Charger, Explorer Interceptor, F-150 Police Responder, and related pursuit vehicles. Products must be genuine Dynamic Friction Company products or County-approved equals, meet or exceed OEM and severe-duty pursuit standards, and include standard manufacturer warranties. The contract has an approximately five-year potential term, with estimated total compensation of approximately $500,000, although the County does not guarantee a total spend. Core-basket pricing is required for specified parts, along with a catalog discount for non-core PPV parts, hardware kits, and accessories. Stocked items must generally be delivered within one to two business days after receipt of order. Equal products require technical specification sheets, thermal testing data, and friction-material ratings. Bidders must submit pricing and the required qualification, certification, licensing, insurance, and signed solicitation forms electronically.
