Description
The City of Everett is seeking qualified public defense attorneys to establish a continuous on-call roster for conflict public defense services. This roster will be used to appoint attorneys on a case-by-case basis when the primary conflict public defense attorney is unable to accept an appointment. Attorneys placed on the list will serve for up to five years, or until they are no longer able to provide services or request removal. Applications will be reviewed at least twice annually, after April 15th and October 15th. Individual attorneys or firms must submit a response, and a separate contract will be issued to each attorney providing services. Services will include client interviews, legal research, court appearances, and compliance with Washington Supreme Court's Standards for Indigent Defense Services.
