Description
Gwinnett County Information Technology Services is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified suppliers to provide HP file servers and a broad range of computer peripheral equipment under an annual contract. Requested equipment includes rack-mount, standalone, and blade servers; memory; internal and external hard drives; USB flash drives; scanners; modems; network cards; cables; monitors; and related devices. Software is excluded. The County may award to one or multiple suppliers and will order equipment as projects and budgets are approved. Bidders should be authorized HP resellers, authorized service providers, or the equipment manufacturer, and must provide configuration, order tracking, order reconciliation, and telephone, fax, purchase-order, or Internet ordering capabilities. Services include on-site configuration support when needed, weekly pending-order reports, account and billing contacts, weekday support from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time, shipment of approved orders within 7–14 business days, responses to pricing and product-information requests within four hours, quote processing within three business days, and shipment of fully configured equipment. Pricing must include shipping and fees, remain firm during the initial term, and be provided as discounts from applicable state-contract pricing or as a markup of no more than 8 percent for peripherals unavailable under the state contract.
