Description
This Sources Sought notice is market research, not a request for proposals, quotations, or bids. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking information from firms capable of providing design, permitting, and construction services for the Salmon Creek Overflow Tide Gate. The work includes assessing existing conditions; preparing stamped designs and permit applications; removing the gate obstruction; repairing slope erosion and the road embankment; and installing a new curb and pedestrian railing system, signage, and approach gravel, with concrete repairs as needed. The contractor would also coordinate design and construction meetings, prepare project schedules and reports, and provide required plans, submittals, and closeout materials. Responses are limited to five pages and should describe up to three similar projects completed within the past five years, along with the firm's capabilities, business size and socioeconomic categories, and interest in serving as a prime, subcontractor, or joint venture. The project must be completed by October 31, 2027; in-water work is restricted to June 15 through October 31.
