Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is hosting an industry day to discuss upcoming construction solicitations using Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and Progressive Design-Build (PDB) under its Other Transaction Authority for Construction. The event will cover the acquisition strategy, anticipated requirements, and planned OTA-PDB process, with presentations on several planned military facility and infrastructure projects. The notice is informational and preparatory; it is not the formal solicitation for those projects. The event also includes sessions on white paper expectations, lessons learned, one-on-one industry feedback, and Meet the Primes. Separate advance submissions by email are required to request participation in the one-on-one feedback sessions or Meet the Primes; the notice specifies different materials and deadlines for prime contractors and subcontractors. The formal program solicitations will provide the eventual competition requirements and submission instructions.
