Description
The project includes cold milling and asphalt rubber hot mix overlay, localized full-depth pavement repairs, traffic striping and inductive traffic loops, and reconstruction of curb ramps, sidewalks, curbs, curb and gutter, driveways, and cross gutters. The work also includes installing rectangular rapid flashing beacons, a solar-powered single flashing beacon, pedestrian push-button posts, and parking meter posts, along with associated traffic control and related construction work. The contract documents specify a 75-working-day construction period after the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid conference to submit a bid. The bid package requires a completed bid form and supporting certifications and bidder information, as well as bid security of at least 10% of the total bid price. The engineer's cost estimate is $3,500,000.
