Description
The United States Navy, through NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, is seeking mobile crane lease and rental services at Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Connecticut. The contractor must provide all labor, management, materials, supervision, tools, facilities, transportation, and equipment necessary to perform the work described in the solicitation’s bid schedule, including crane rental and related support services. The contract includes a 12-month base period plus four 12-month option periods, with a minimum guarantee only during the base period. The requirement is unrestricted and classified under NAICS 238990. Amendment 0003 extends the proposal deadline to September 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The amendment also states that ammunition and explosives qualification and certification must be obtained before personnel perform weapons-handling tasks; the Government’s response regarding security-clearance and facility-clearance requirements remains pending in a subsequent amendment.
