Description
Columbia School District is soliciting bids for construction of ADA accessibility improvements at Columbia Central High School Athletic Fields. The work is divided into Earthwork and Site Utilities and Site Concrete bid categories and includes site clearing, demolition, excavation, grading, storm sewer utilities, concrete sidewalks and pedestrian pavement, driveways, accessible parking spaces and signage, pavement markings, erosion and sedimentation controls, turf restoration, and related site work. Bids must be submitted as a single lump-sum proposal through BuildingConnected. The project requires prevailing-wage compliance, prequalification information, bid security, and compliance with the project drawings and specifications. The planned construction period is October 19 through November 25, 2026, subject to State of Michigan plan review and weather; mandatory alternates include additional ADA parking spaces and replacement of two existing bleacher concrete slabs.
