Description
The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction is soliciting responses for E-Rate Category Two state master contracts serving participating public school units and libraries. The scope includes wireless network equipment, Ethernet switches, caching solutions, cabling and related installation, verification, testing and termination, routers, firewalls, racks, uninterruptible power supplies, wireless access points and controllers, and other eligible internal-connection products and services. Installation, activation, and initial configuration are included where specified. The procurement also covers basic maintenance of internal connections and managed internal broadband services, including leased or existing equipment. The stated quantity of one is a unit-pricing basis rather than a fixed total quantity; the solicitation notes that participating entities' actual purchases will vary. The attached addendum revises the bid deadline and public opening to December 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, and requires the addendum to be returned with the response.
