Description
Steuben County is soliciting bids for one order of 7,130 uncoated Grade 60 reinforcing steel bars: 6,000 #6 bars at 20 feet, 700 #8 bars at 20 feet, 310 #8 bars at 22 feet, and 120 #10 bars at 24 feet. The bars must comply with New York State Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, Section 709-01, be straight, domestically produced in the United States, and be supplied by a manufacturer appearing on the NYSDOT Approved List. Buy America requirements apply. Bidders must provide firm per-bar pricing, extended line-item prices, a total extended line-item price, manufacturer and product information, supporting specification literature, and any deviation details. Delivery is required within 30 calendar days after the County issues a purchase order. A five-percent bid bond or permitted substitute surety is required, and the bid package must include the specified signed certifications and forms.
