Description
The U.S. Coast Guard requires sustainment support for USCGC STORIS, including ten certified mariners with specified deck and engineering qualifications, onboard watchstanding, navigation, maneuvering, small-boat and lifeboat operations, cargo and helicopter operations, engineering monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance, damage-control support, and hands-on training for Coast Guard personnel. Personnel must maintain applicable STCW certifications, medical qualifications, identification credentials, and security requirements, including final Secret clearances for personnel embarked during cutter operations and a Secret facility clearance for the contractor. The requirement also includes 24/7 online and telephone technical support for specified propulsion, machinery, power-management, thruster, dynamic-positioning, towing-winch, reduction-gear, propeller, shaft, and integrated-bridge systems; trouble-log management; program management; crew scheduling and mobilization; reporting; travel; and optional engineering analysis, studies, inspections, surveys, casualty response, upgrades, and documentation updates through potential contract modifications. The period of performance is a one-year base period with four one-year option periods, beginning April 1, 2027.
