Description
The Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) within the U.S. Department of State (DoS) has a requirement for Event Data Recorders (EDRs) for its overseas facilities. The contractor will provide and install in-vehicle video and data capture systems, wireless hardware, and associated services to improve driver behavior and reduce motor vehicle mishaps. The contract includes delivery and installation of approximately 4,091 vehicle data recorders and 248 wireless systems at current sites, plus additional units for future sites. The contractor must also provide data analysis, reporting, training, and embedded personnel support. The system must meet stringent security requirements, including FISMA compliance, and must not include cellular or real-time tracking capabilities. The contract is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, with one base year and one six-month option period.
