Description
The State of Missouri Office of Administration, Division of Facilities Management, Design and Construction, is soliciting bids for repair and renovation of the Judiciary Library in the Missouri Supreme Court Building. The single-prime construction project includes historic plaster and wood restoration, interior painting and staining, replacement of damaged mezzanine glass flooring and laylight glazing, mechanical and electrical modifications, and lighting improvements. Four alternates cover laylight sash restoration, upper-stack lighting, glass-floor replacement, and marble-base repairs. The building will remain occupied during construction, and work must comply with historic-preservation procedures and applicable safety, security, prevailing-wage, and hazardous-material requirements. The project requires completion within 110 working days from issuance of the Notice of Intent to Award, includes $1,000-per-working-day liquidated damages, and requires a 5% bid bond or equivalent cashier's check/bank draft. Bidders must submit the Owner's forms and accompanying documents as PDF files by email; the bid package includes the Bid Form, Unit Prices Form, applicable MBE/WBE/SDVE/HDVE forms, Affidavit of Work Authorization, and Anti-Discrimination Against Israel Act Certification. The documents identify a 3% SDVE or HDVE participation goal, with 0% MBE and WBE goals.
