Description
The Indiana Department of Transportation, through the City of Columbus as the local public agency, is seeking professional engineering services for traffic signal modernization at seven Columbus intersections under Des. No. 2601023. The work includes full signal replacements at 10th and Marr, 10th and McClure, 10th and Gladstone, 8th and Central, 10th and Central, and 22nd and Central, plus conversion of the HAWK signal at Parkside and Central to a full traffic signal. The selected consultant will provide the required prequalified engineering services, including environmental document preparation, project management for acquisition services, topographical surveying, title searches, roadway and bridge design, appraisal and appraisal review, right-of-way plan development, construction inspection, traffic signal design, and utility coordination. The response is an eight-page Letter of Interest addressing firm qualifications, key staff, capacity, project approach, technical understanding, cost containment, innovation, and confirmation of a site visit. The estimated construction amount is $2,325,000, the contract continues until project completion, and the DBE goal is 0%.
