Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane is conducting a Sources Sought notice to identify businesses capable of supplying components for the Upper Receiver Group Improved (URG-I) configuration. The requested supplies include 14.5-inch M4 barrels with mid-length gas systems and gas block assemblies, 11.5-inch M4 barrels with carbine-length gas systems and gas block assemblies, 14.5-inch M4 barrels with mid-length gas systems plus mid-length gas tubes and roll pins, and mid-length gas tubes with roll pins. The components are described as firm-fixed-price items with inspection and acceptance at NSWC Crane and delivery 90 days after order. Responses are for market research only and must describe the submitter's capability, including relevant government-contract experience where applicable. The notice states that the Government intends to extend the current contract without increasing its value and does not constitute a solicitation or offer opportunity.
