Description
This Request for Information/Sources Sought seeks industry capability statements for comprehensive calibration services covering approximately 2,700 unique types and 7,000 total annual test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment assets. The scope includes torque equipment, meters, data acquisition equipment, power supplies, pressure and vacuum equipment, microwave equipment, signal generators, temperature and humidity equipment, hand tools, and other specialized equipment. Services must comply with ISO/IEC 17025 and Navy-approved or specialized procedures, with most work performed at the contractor's facility and additional work performed at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane site and other locations in Indiana and adjoining states. Requirements include laboratory and metrology support, secure transportation and asset handling, pickup and delivery two to five times weekly, government-furnished-property stewardship, and approximately 341 onsite field calibrations annually. The five-page capability statement must address corporate information, facility capacity, technical capabilities and accreditations, logistics, and field-calibration processes.
