Description
The Town of Cary is seeking 20 complete, new flood-inundation monitoring nodes to replace existing nodes in its flood sensor network. Each self-contained, remotely operated unit must include water-level monitoring, data logging, cellular communications, GPS, environmental monitoring capabilities, integrated solar charging and battery systems, and a submersible water-level pressure sensor with an approximately 50-foot cable. The equipment must support outdoor operation, remote configuration, alarm reporting, peripheral expansion, and native operation within the Town’s existing AWARE SHIELD software environment and SHIELD-to-North Carolina FIMAN integration. The bid also requests pricing for a software subscription for 20 sensor units, a three-year extended warranty for the nodes, annual equipment maintenance with two-way shipping, unlimited virtual and telephone support, and delivery of all goods by January 20, 2027. Bidders must complete and sign the provided bid proposal form, identify whether their products meet the specifications, provide pricing and delivery information, and explain any approved exceptions as an attachment. Bids must be submitted electronically through the North Carolina electronic Vendor Portal; physical, email, and fax submissions are not accepted.
