Description
The City of Palo Alto Community Services Department is seeking multiple vendors to provide and deliver sand, compost, top dressing mixes, baseball infield mix, decomposed granite, and USGA TD-360 sand for park, open-space, roadside, median, and facility maintenance. Materials will be purchased on an as-needed basis, with estimated quantities that are not guaranteed. Vendors must include transportation, delivery, freight, fuel, environmental fees, and other incidentals in their prices; deliveries are generally required within five business days of each request, although the City may pick up materials from the vendor's facility. The solicitation uses a blanket purchase/pricing order and may result in multiple awards. The initial pricing term includes two additional one-year periods, with firm pricing subject to the stated adjustment provisions. Quotes must include pricing for each listed line item and year, required product specifications, applicable item information or warranty/specification documentation, the Bidder's Questionnaire, a completed W-9, and required insurance documentation before award or contract performance as specified. The City will evaluate the lowest total bid across the stated pricing tables and may accept approved equals or alternatives.
