Description
The Virginia Department of Transportation is soliciting seasonal, as-needed road condition monitor services during winter weather events to supplement staff during snow and ice removal operations. The work will support approximately 40 monitors, with 20 monitors per shift, in the Prince William Residency within the Northern Virginia District. The all-inclusive hourly rate must include experienced and qualified personnel, a four-wheel- or all-wheel-drive vehicle, fuel, transportation, personal protective equipment, automatic vehicle location capability, a cell phone, and all incidentals. No additional charges are allowed. The solicitation lists an estimated quantity of 4,032 hours.
