This advertisement is a correction to the advertisement previously published on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Please refer to this corrected advertisement for the current solicitation information and requirements. A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held on MONDAY, October 12, 2026, AT 10:00 A.M. in the Engineering Conference Room, 100 N. U.S. 1, Fort Pierce, Florida. Description
The City of Fort Pierce is seeking a qualified contractor to provide a seasonal lease of two commercial-grade artificial Christmas trees, offering separate firm, fixed annual pricing for either two 30-foot trees or two 25-foot trees. The City will select one option. Pricing must include labor, materials, equipment, transportation, installation, decorations, lighting, maintenance, dismantling, removal, storage, and site restoration. Each display must include structural components, anchoring or ballast, commercial-grade LED lighting, decorative elements, an illuminated topper, and related accessories. The trees must fit within the 24-foot interior diameter of the Avenue A and Indian River Drive roundabout. Addendum No. 1 specifies white LED lights and silver/gold-colored ornaments. The contractor must perform site inspections, utility clearance, engineering review, permitting, safety planning, traffic and pedestrian control, installation, electrical testing, routine and emergency maintenance, dismantling, transportation, seasonal storage, and restoration. Requirements include qualified equipment operators, an OSHA-compliant Activity Hazard Analysis and site-specific safety plan, applicable licenses and certifications, insurance, a 24-hour emergency contact, and a four-hour emergency response. The contract has a one-year initial term with two optional one-year renewals, and the revised bid documents must be used.
