Description
Walker County is soliciting bids for approximately 18,000 tons of Limestone Base Type A, Grade 1 or Grade 2. Vendors may quote delivery, pickup, or both, with material delivered to various county job sites along Stubblefield Lake Road or made available for County pickup. Quantities will be determined at the time of order, and the County is not committed to a minimum or maximum quantity. The material must conform to Item 247 of the 2024 TxDOT Standard Specifications for Construction and Maintenance of Highways, Streets, and Bridges. The stockpile must be inspected and approved by an independent testing laboratory, with certified test results furnished to the County. Bidders must submit pricing for Grade 1 and Grade 2 material, delivery and/or pickup terms, delivery timing, references, required certifications and forms, and a current certificate of insurance. The initial contract runs from award through estimated project completion on July 31, 2028, with stated renewal and extension provisions.
