Description
Dixie County is soliciting a qualified contractor to crush and process up to 400 loads of county-owned limerock, with each load approximately 18,000 pounds. The County will designate the work locations, quantity, and schedule and may order fewer than the maximum quantity. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, machinery, tools, fuel, and other resources required for the work and must hold a current MSHA certificate with experience in limerock crushing and processing. The contractor must furnish and maintain commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation insurance, comply with applicable laws and safety requirements, and safely operate equipment and personnel on County property. Bidders must submit a unit price per load; sealed bids are due by the stated deadline.
