Description
The City seeks a vendor to provide recurring production and mailing services for a quarterly printed publication. The scope includes receiving and securely managing the City’s utility-customer mailing list; printing a 12-, 16-, or 20-page, full-color publication; finishing, inkjet addressing, tabbing, mail preparation, and postage processing; and mailing an estimated 30,000–35,000 copies per quarter. The vendor must provide digital proofs for City approval before production, with hard-copy color proofs available at the City’s discretion. The City also estimates 500 additional printed copies for handout use. Proposers must demonstrate comparable commercial printing and mailing experience, including the capacity to print and mail 50,000 or more pieces within the specified production windows, USPS mailing expertise and permits, quality-control procedures, and secure handling of address data. Responses must describe production and mailing workflows, data security, project management, pricing, and at least three similar projects completed within the last three years; three samples of comparable work are also requested. Pricing must cover the specified print formats, mailing preparation, postage, proofing, additional copies, and six sample pricing exercises.
