The West Virginia Department of Homeland Security, Division of Administrative Services, is soliciting bids on behalf of the West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s Correctional Industries for a one-time purchase of one Glunz & Jensen PlateWriter Infuse XL machine or equal. The computer-to-plate system must produce press-ready aluminum plates, support specified plate sizes and common file formats, and use daylight operation and water-based inkjet technology without chemical processing. The requested accessories include a computer shelf, monitor and keyboard stand, deletion pen, cleaning fluid, maintenance/service kit, and plate cleaner. The vendor must install and test the equipment, provide at least one year of parts, labor, and warranty service from installation, train one to three agency personnel, and provide manufacturer-trained installation and warranty personnel with at least three years of relevant experience. The bid must include the completed agency pricing page; vendors proposing an equal product should provide supporting product documentation with the bid or within 24 hours of an agency request. The award is based on the lowest overall cost among bids meeting the specifications.
