Description
The City seeks cleaning services for its catch basins and storm drains, including removal and lawful disposal of trash, sediment, debris, organic material, and standing water. The anticipated minimum is approximately 384 storm drains with Full Capture Devices cleaned annually; the City may authorize additional cleaning up to 974 drains per contract year, depending on funding, inspections, and operational needs. For each cleaned location, the contractor must measure and document basin dimensions and pipe sizes; inspect and report damaged infrastructure; provide before-and-after photographs, debris weight records, and location-specific reports; apply specified interior maintenance markings; enter cleaning and inspection data into the City's GIS system; and replace or install City-provided placards as needed. The contractor must have applicable collection, transport, and disposal certifications; a Confined Space Entry Certification is required if that cleaning method is used. Traffic control, labor, equipment, disposal, and related costs are included in the quoted prices.
