Description
Riverside County seeks primary and secondary vendors to supply a broad range of food products across categories including dry and canned groceries, frozen foods, meat, poultry, seafood, dairy, produce, and kitchen supplies. The attached food list is illustrative rather than exhaustive, and bidders may quote for any categories they can supply. The County may make multiple, category-by-category awards. Vendors must provide frequent, on-demand deliveries to county facilities, generally within one to two working days of an order, and maintain adequate inventory and a minimum 95% fill rate or a 30-day supply. The scope also includes product handling and temperature controls, returns and recall support, ordering assistance, and periodic usage, rebate, and pricing reports. The contract may run for up to five years, with one-year renewals.
