Description
This sources-sought notice seeks information from qualified firms capable of providing complete design-build construction services to remediate an old two-story parking garage. The work includes investigating and reporting existing conditions; removing, repairing, and cleaning corroded structural steel beams, columns, metal decking, reinforcing steel, concrete, stair assemblies, expansion joints, and ramp transitions; restoring traffic-bearing waterproofing; applying corrosion-mitigation and protective coatings; and restriping the second-floor parking area. The contractor would provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, construction documents, structural remediation plans, seismic calculations if needed, product data, shop drawings, traffic-control and phased construction plans, and as-built documents. Construction is specified as 180 calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed, with work preferably performed at night and on weekends to minimize disruption. This notice is for market research and planning only and is not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract.
