Description
Sarpy County is seeking a qualified firm to provide recordkeeping and administrative services for its governmental 401(a) and 457(b) retirement plans. The selected firm will consolidate assets and participant records from four incumbent recordkeepers—Nationwide, Lincoln, Voya, and Empower—and support the transition of approximately 700 eligible employees and approximately $30 million in plan assets to a single platform. The County prefers an open-architecture investment platform and requests fee reductions for proprietary funds. The scope includes transition planning and conversion, recordkeeping, participant and plan sponsor services, reporting, communications, enrollment assistance, fiduciary committee support, regulatory and documentation support, data security and business continuity information, customer service, and employee education. Respondents should address the availability of onsite and/or virtual participant education, recordkeeping and administration capabilities, participant services, security, conversion methodology, fees, and use of artificial intelligence. The addendum confirms that the SOC 2 report may be submitted as a separate attachment rather than combined with the Statement of Qualifications.
