Description
Gilbert Public Schools is soliciting retirement financial advisory and related planning services for its employees under a zero-direct-employer-cost structure. The selected firm will provide confidential individualized consultations, retirement-readiness assessments, income and savings strategies, investment-risk and healthcare-expense education, legacy planning, and guidance on 403(b), 457(b), HSA, Social Security, Medicare, and life-insurance considerations. The scope also requires education regarding Arizona State Retirement System pension eligibility, benefit options, service credit, survivor benefits, retirement timing, and phased retirement, while clarifying that official ASRS determinations remain the responsibility of ASRS. The contractor must provide workshops and educational materials, employee access through in-person and/or virtual appointments, coordination with the District Benefits Department, periodic non-identifying utilization reports, confidentiality and data-security protections, disclosures regarding compensation and conflicts of interest, and appropriately licensed and qualified advisors. Proposals must include resumes, an RFP response, a separate cost proposal, required forms and certifications, and any requested additional contract terms.
