Description
The Department of the Air Force is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor to provide all management, tools, equipment, supplies, and labor necessary to clean and sanitize the Offutt Air Force Base Field House, Building 321. The work includes approximately 80,000 square feet of walls, including 10 riser roofs and 12 air returns; approximately 30,000 square feet of netting; and approximately 250,000 square feet of rafters and roof surfaces. The contractor must use a top-down cleaning approach, dust mops, vacuums, dust-containment and removal equipment, and at least one extra-large PAS 2400 air scrubber or equivalent. Waste must be removed and disposed of in accordance with applicable federal, state, local, and base requirements. The contractor must be an established company with at least 10 years of experience in environmental abatement and large-scale janitorial cleaning. Personnel must provide required safety equipment, including fall-arrest systems, eye protection, respirators, and hard hats. Work is to be performed during overnight hours, Monday through Friday, and completed within 45 days or less. A project manager must be local or on site for the duration of the project, and the offer must include a technical plan of no more than 10 pages, pricing, required representations and certifications, and a certificate of insurance.
