The University of Washington is soliciting statements of qualifications from architectural and engineering firms to provide design services for the UW Medical Center Montlake 4NN/4EE Acute Care Expansion project. The project will use the General Contractor/Construction Manager contracting method authorized under Washington Revised Code 39.10. The scope involves renovating the fourth floor of the Pacific Tower at UW Medical Center Montlake. Approximately 18,500 square feet in the North and East wings, originally designed as patient-care space and later converted to administrative use, will be converted back to support acute-care capacity and create approximately 24 additional medical/surgical acute-care beds or bays.
