Description
The Town of Pickstown, South Dakota, requests sealed competitive bids for structural, mechanical, and aesthetic repairs to six storm-damaged, town-owned buildings at specified Pickstown addresses. Complete repair specifications, damage listings from the insurance claim adjustment, and bid packets are available for examination at the Pickstown Town Office during regular business hours; bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the properties. The prime contractor must perform all repair work with its own workforce, and subcontracting is prohibited. The contractor is responsible for all preparation, repair work, and legal disposal of waste materials. Each bid must include the bidder’s legal name and contact information, a detailed description of the proposed work, and the total repair cost. A bid security is required: either a certified check, cashier’s check, or bank draft for 5% of the total bid, or a 10% bid bond issued by an authorized surety.
