Description
The City of Harrisburg is soliciting construction bids for 272nd Street Paving Roadway Improvements in Harrisburg, South Dakota. The project includes traffic control, erosion control, water-main installation, roadway earthwork, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt paving and milling, storm-sewer work, pavement markings, and restoration. The bid schedule contains 60 unit-price items, including approximately 2,527 feet of 12-inch PVC water main, 10,724 tons of asphalt concrete composite, 5,618 tons of aggregate base course, and related utility, drainage, and roadway improvements. Bids must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form with bid security. The successful contractor must complete the work by November 6, 2026, with final completion due 14 calendar days later. Performance and payment bonds, each equal to at least the Contract Price, are required after award, and the contractor must provide the required liability insurance. The project manual identifies Stockwell Engineers, Inc. as the engineer and requires bidders to acknowledge all addenda.
