Description
The City of Brandon is soliciting sealed bids for the Bluffs Area Drainage Improvements - Phase 1 project. The work includes clearing and removal of trees and vegetation; channel and embankment grading; minor storm sewer installation; minor concrete and sidewalk replacement; erosion control; seeding; and site restoration. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the engineer and accompanied by bid security payable to the City of Brandon: either a certified or bank check for 5% of the total bid amount or a bidder's bond for 10%. Contractors must include applicable South Dakota sales tax in their bid prices and represent that they have visited the site and reviewed local conditions. The owner may reject any or all bids, and proposals must remain firm for 30 days after bid opening.
