Description
The City of Kingsland Fire Department is soliciting sealed proposals for a live fire training structure. The project involves the design, fabrication, delivery, installation, and training associated with a three-container fire training prop system. The system will include three modified 40-foot shipping containers, with features such as multi-level training capabilities, interior and exterior props, roof-level access, a maze/confined space system, and observation/instructor safety features. The structure must comply with NFPA 1402 standards. The awarded contractor will provide two days of Train-the-Trainer instruction covering live fire operations, safety procedures, maintenance, and prop operation. Vendors must demonstrate experience in live fire training structure fabrication and NFPA-compliant systems, and provide references for similar completed projects.
