Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information on vendors capable of supplying and installing new warehouse dock levelers at the American Lake VA Medical Center. The existing dock levelers are over 30 years old and have irreparable issues, causing operational difficulties. This is a firm-fixed-price supply purchase requirement. The scope involves the design and build of straightforward unbolting, electrical disconnection, and removal of the old units. New units will be slid into place, bolted down, and electrically connected, including the installation and functional testing of new control panels. Work will be performed on the four dock levelers in Building 143. The contractor will be responsible for the proper disposal of all removed equipment. The period of performance is 90 days upon award of the contract, with some flexibility to work within warehouse operating hours.
