The University of South Carolina seeks a qualified contractor for a one-time purchase to refinish university-owned trash receptacles. The work includes blasting to produce a clean, uniform surface, followed by pretreatment and electrostatic coating with TGIC polyester resin powder. The required finish is Jet Black (RAL 9005; RGB 010-010-010; HEX 0A0A0A), semi-gloss at 65–75 gloss units at 60 degrees, with a smooth appearance. The total coating thickness across all layers must be 6–8 mil. The contractor must be located within a 50-mile radius of Columbia, South Carolina.
