Description
This is a Sources Sought notice for Shower Chairs (Brand Name or Equal) to be used in the Bay Pines VAHC Acute Care setting. The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to determine the feasibility of a Small, Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. If insufficient SDVOSB responses are received, the requirement may be solicited as a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Small Business (SB) set-aside. The product must meet or exceed the following minimum technical specifications: slim design, seat with hygiene opening, included commode pan, ergonomic footrest, fits over commodes, height adjustable, adjustable foot support, 4 lockable wheels, easy to clean, 353 lb. weight capacity, wipeable back support (no mesh), and a no-rust, no-peel, no-scratch frame construction. The structure should be powder-coated steel with a maximum working load of 200 Kg / 353 lbs.
