Description
The U.S. Coast Guard is soliciting quotes for a firm-fixed-price purchase order for commercial services to perform a Series 60 MTU Port Engine Cylinder Head Replacement for hull# 45603. The services require a certified MTU/Detroit Diesel technician experienced in the overhaul and repair of the USCG Series 60 engines. The technician will be responsible for draining coolant, removing and reinstalling engine components including the cylinder head, ECM, exhaust manifold, and injectors, and performing necessary adjustments and checks. The work must be completed by a technician with official MTU training and certification. The place of performance is USCG Station Sand Key, FL, located at 1375 Gulf Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33767. The period of performance is to be determined (TBA).
