Description
The City of Clearwater is soliciting bids for the RO1 Chemical Storage and Feed System Improvements project. This project involves several key areas of work: Preparation and coating of containment areas for Hydrofluorosilicic Acid, Antiscalant, Sodium Bisulfite, and Caustic. This includes the installation of leak detection sensors, conduit, wiring, and other necessary equipment. Demolition of the existing Ammonium Hydroxide storage area, installation of temporary ammonia dosing facilities, preparation and coating of the containment area, and installation of new storage tanks, day tank, piping, valves, fittings, supports, accessories, transfer pumps, and a new dosing SCADA system. Replacement of the caustic dosing line, including containment and insulation, injection quill, and injection quill housing. Contractors are required to provide copies of their current Contractor License/Registration with the state of Florida and Pinellas County (if applicable) with their bid response. Additionally, fixed project signs will be provided as described in the contract documents.
